Built in the 16th century, during the transition from the Manueline to the Renaissance style, the church features an interesting Baroque façade, added later, with white walls and red sandstone stonework. The slender pulpit and corresponding access staircase, built with local marble, are small Baroque masterpieces. The church also houses a valuable collection of statues from the 16th to 18th centuries, particularly those dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Urban Palace with two floors, whose original construction dates from the 15th century. After being badly damaged by the earthquake of 1755, it was rebuilt between 1835 and 1836, settling here the Judicial Court of judicial district. In 1841, part of the building became the National Theatre, later called Teatro Virginia. Currently, it houses the headquarters of the Association of Defense of heritage and the band Torrejana Workers.

This fountain, one of the oldest in Viseu, has two spouts, both of them dry, one of which covered by wood. One of the fountains, the one that stands on the span of the gothic arch, is medieval, dates back to the 16th century and was commanded by a princess of Castille who was the wife of Dom Manuel I. The other fountain, under the 1600s small temple, was built later. There is also a small granite square by it and benches.

This is an ancient cemetery with four types of tombs: bathtub-shaped, triangular, anthropomorphic, and carved into movable stones. Near these graves is the Penedo do Sino, a pedunculated granite block, shaped by weathering, and well-known for its strange and beautiful balance. This site was occupied between the 1st and 2nd centuries and later between the 12th and 13th centuries, although it is believed that this necropolis dates from the 6th to the 14th centuries.

Paredes de Coura

This is just one of the 14 milestone markers that exist in the municipality of Paredes de Coura. They are located on the road that led to Braga, then called Bracara Augusta. Only 5 of the markers show the number of miles, because, while initially used to measure distances, they later served to record the honorary titles of various emperors, their affiliations, and public offices, thus explaining the appearance of several milestones in the same location.

The palace is built between 1770/1790, being the residence of Jacinto Fernandes Bandeira, the first Porto Covo baron. The building is later bought by the British State and became the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Lisbon. The palace is organized in U, integrating the chapel as a semi-autonomous entity. At the garden may be seen a tank with a small cascade and a small swimming-pool built for the workers for the company that presently runs here.

16th century church with Manueline portal, consisting of nave and chancel. The façade is distinguished by the Royal arms, with the date of 1808, and a Latin cross in the top. Inside are an altarpiece of João de Rouen, the talha, the paintings of the caissons and the two painted canvas of lateral cloths, representative of the visitation and da Nossa Senhora da Conceição. In 1810 was the target of attack by the French troops who destroyed the registry's mercy.

From early on, visitors were attracted by the British-style architecture of the thermal baths, where the largest structure is the Thermal Hospital. A complex dating from 1485, sponsored by the wife of King João II, Queen Leonor. It is considered one of the first works of what would later be called the "Manueline style".
