The parish church of Fiães Tâmega, dedicated to Santa Susana, is deployed in the main village square. Granite construction, oriented northeast\/southwest, on the main façade, elongated by a Bell Tower has a rectangular door flanked by two horizontal slots. Inside the Church, recently the target of restoration, stands the high altar, in gilt, which occupies the central part of the headboard, decorated with painted panels. This is the Church that Sunday masses are celebrated and the offices of the religious feast in honour of Santa Susana.

It is a rural, fortified manor, with a square plan, crowned with cut merlons, from the reign of King Manuel. The main facade is arranged in three registers, the first marked by the portico and the others by the openings of two rectangular windows. Internally, the ground floor develops into a large hall, covered with a vault with three sections of ribbed warheads; the first floor is occupied by the main hall, covered by a vault with ribbed warheads and adjoining divisions and the following floors are covered by vaults with a lowered dome.

Located in the Serra de Montejunto, this town has Neolithic remains until the 12th century, and this permanence is documented with protohistoric, prehistoric and Roman remains. The old houses from the 17th to the 19th century, with exterior staircases and porched balconies, are worth a visit.
