Recipe: Pour a kilo of flour with the melted lard, a glass of brandy and two eggs into a bowl. Knead everything very well. Then cut and spread small pieces of dough using a rolling pin. Olive oil mill, hydraulic engine Cabril which is situated next to the entrance of the village, which allowed for many years the making of olive oil from this region. Currently no longer works, either for lack of olives, or by any simpler means that do not require such large amounts. Its conservation status is not very good, but has the essential elements to be used with great accuracy and allow the recovery of tradition for filmic record.

The Cimalhinhas Palheiras Nucleus is part of the Cimalhinhas Heritage Trail. The Cimalhinhas Heritage Trail, in Carregal do Sal, is a local project to safeguard, enhance, and transform archaeological heritage into a museum, aiming to preserve and recover evidence of the past. It consists of a cluster of rough-hewn stone buildings covered with wood and corrugated tiles, which were used to store tools, herd animals, or store straw in post-medieval times.

Church with origins in the 13th century, having been one of the most affected by the earthquake of 1755. It consists of nave, choir, chancel, vestry, meeting room and storage room. The facade is composed of a simple courtyard and well taken care of, the door surmounted by window and this for a watch. At the top is the cross of Christ, flanked by two bell towers. The distinctive feature of this church is the chancel, due to the use of the cover of the dome with Lantern Tower.

The Rossio Caves were re-found between 1940 and 1950 as a result of the exploration of subterranean quarries with the system of opening tunnels and wide rooms. In the 18th century it furnished calcareous rocks used in the construction of millstones. In the summer one may visit them between 9 am and noon and from 4 pm to 8 pm and in the winter from 10 am to noon and between 2 pm and 5 pm.
