A village composed of vast farms, espigueiros (small cereal warehouses) and 17th and 18th century granite constructions. Located on a relative plain, one can tell the differences between the old and the new areas. The chapel stands on a hillock and there are water mills by the river.

A village with agricultural fields, located on the low part of the hillside. The cultural heritage includes the manors from the 18th and 19th centuries, the espigueiros (small cereal warehouses), the chapel of Saint António, the crucifix and the Castro Hill. Near the Cabriz, on finds the Cai d'Alto waterfalls, several traditional mills and the leisure park of Mandragoso.

Mannerist architecture church with nave and chancel. Features, inside, chorus-high, holy water sinks, gomadas to flank the portals, baptistery in round Arch on the Gospel side, niche in round Arch on the opposite, with side altarpieces of carved late-Baroque altarpiece carved chancel and revivalist.

The Cave paintings in Lamela are composed with granitic effleurage with enormous dimensions in which, its superior part is covered with cave sculptures, namely simple and composed geometric figures such as concentric circles, lines, reticulated and perforated. It should also be mentioned an oval ditch, half dig on the extreme east from the sculptured piece. It is classified as Building of Public Interest.

The environmental Park of Ribeira de Pena, in place of payroll officer, was opened in March 2007, following a strategy of preservation, promotion and dissemination of natural and environmental resources of the County. In its 18 acres cohabit several species of fauna and flora, and we can find tree zones of native species (pine, oak, birch, poplar, ash, chestnut ...), as well as two centers of interpretation and a environmental workshop.
