The Tagus River flows into the beautiful Tagus estuary, after traveling 875 km from the Serra de Albarracín. The estuary is a place well known for the passage of migratory birds. One of the few terrestrial accesses can be made near Porto Alto (in Reta do Cabo).

A beach surrounded by huge, quite beautiful cliffs. From those high cliffs, one can sometimes view the falcão da rainha, a rare kind of hawk that has its nests there. The beach is attended by youngsters and by families. It has a small bar/restaurant with an excellent terrace.

A House about 30 years ago, where the barrels, fishing nets, cataplanas and shells give color to the space. The grills are the specialty of the barrel, where you can opt for a place inside or on the terrace with tables and wooden bench seats. There are performances from fado, every day.

It is a 15th-century temple, built on the initiative of King João II. The narthex is made up of Gothic arches, faithfully representing the original temple. Inside, one can see some painted panels above the main altar, two of them illustrating the life of Saint Blaise.
