More than a loom factory, this is a space of stories and memories, a space for the design and production of burel, the most traditional woolen fabric of the Serra da Estrela wool industry. In this factory, you can see 19th-century machines that still work and see the pieces that are produced here.

Farm dating from the early 17TH century, located south of the village of Rabo de Peixe, just fifteen minutes drive from Ponta Delgada airport. Over three hundred years it was home to a strong militia, a House of artists, a fifth of orange groves and a tea factory.
