The history of portrait of Memory dates back to 1931, when Ignatius Alfredo Fernandes, solicitor in Ferreira do Alentejo, send build this House that, even today, is still in the family, now with contemporary notes, but without losing the identity of Alentejo. The cottage "portrait of memory" has 10 rooms (one of which built in wood and inserted in the garden) with all amenities. There are also several leisure spaces, as Arab baths, Turkish bath, outdoor jacuzzi, terrace, Garden, tv and reading room with honesty bar.

This estate represents how agrarian houses were during the 17th century. The agrarian houses possessed the lord house, the cotter house, a thrashing floor, the barn and a chapel. The lightning goes to the south façade, to the balconies and frames in granite.
