Viewpoint located just outside the city of Horta, which runs along both sides of the main road, in a completely antagonistic view. On one side you can see Praia do Almoxarife and the rural landscape. On the other, the city of Horta in all its splendor, with the marina and Monte da Guia in the background.

Set of three rotating windmills, located at the top of Lomba da Conceição. The wooden structure, as well as the access stairs, are painted red, from which the masts and sails emerge (two with grid sails and one with triangular sails). The landscape that can be captured from these mills is of rare beauty.

The Caldeira, a crater 2000 meters in diameter and 400 meters deep, results from the volcanic nature of Faial Island. It's a beauty for the eyes, as long as the weather conditions alow it. Access to the conditioned interior, subject to the Faial Natural Park Guide. Inland, the diversity of botanical habitats deserves to be highlighted: laurel forest, cedar forests, peat bogs, reeds, among others.

Created in 1986 on a former agricultural farm, the Faial Botanical Garden is dedicated to the conservation of landscape biodiversity and environmental education and awareness. Occupying an area of approximately 8000 square meters, you can find, in this space, the natural flora of the Azores (coastal vegetation, medium altitude vegetation, altitude vegetation and vegetation of ravines and sheltered areas), ornamental and exotic plants and an area of medicinal plants. A vacation area par excellence, these pools are formed by the cutting of basalt rocks of a volcanic nature. This results in configurations of rare beauty and charm, of contrast between the dark rock and the blue of the sea. Those who wish can also come into direct contact with the sea, without using the pool transformed by human hands. Of particular note are the great views of the south side of the island, namely, Morro de Castelo Branco.

Located around a hundred meters above sea level, just outside the parish of Capelo, this park, covering 96 hectares, is densely wooded and has a considerable diversity of endemic plants. In addition to enabling barbecues and picnics, it can be used for various physical maintenance activities.

In September 1957 the Earth began to tremble and, from there, Faial was never the same. For 13 months, between September 27, 1957 and October 24, 1958, a volcanic phenomenon completely transformed this tip of Faial island in three distinct eruptive phases. Panicking, the inhabitants of Capelo and Praia do Norte runned away, or to the nearby islands or to the United States. Today, one can still verify the results of the eruption: fields and houses buried, the Capelinhos Lighthouse completely unusable (now renovated to the Volcano Interpretation Centre) and a rugged landscape, almost lunar.

A reference point on the "island itinerary", Marina da Horta is the most important in the Azores and the fourth most visited marina in the world. Protected to the south by Monte de Guia and to the north by Ponta da Espalamanca, it is in a privileged location against the winds and is an almost obligatory passage for vessels traveling from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, in the middle of the North Atlantic. Created in 1977 in the former Jesuit College, this museum tells the history of the island and the city of Horta. The exhibition consists of ethnographic objects (by highlighting the laces and handcrafted made from fig tree), nautical, technological objects (linked to the history of communications) and artistic. It also features an exhibition of sacred art in the 16th and 17th centuries, of elements and religious figures gathered in churches and chapels of the island.
