The campsite of Celorico de Basto is an ideal place to escape the routine and from the discovery of the celoricense culture, or simply to take a few days rest. Here you can observe nature, visit the architectural heritage, practise several sports and experience the flavors of local gastronomy.

In the Solar building, you can view themed exhibitions about Port Wine, while the space where the old cooperage once stood now houses an auditorium. They organize technical tastings of Port and Douro Wine, as well as "Portos de Honra", lunches, and dinners.

It became known as Torre da Alfândega after the Alfândega (Customhouse) de Guimarães building was created next to it. Visiting this point is almost mandatory for anyone visiting the city for the first time. It is mainly known for the famous inscription "Aqui Nasceu Portugal" (Portugal Was Born Here).

The Serra de Montejunto was classified as a Protected Landscape Area in 1999 and a Natura Network Site in 2000. It is fifteen kilometers long and seven kilometers wide, along which you can enjoy landscapes of great natural beauty, as well as diverse species of fauna and flora.

Water fall with ten meters high, located in an area with grottos, stalactites and stalagmites. The access is done going up the river until the point where it is no longer navigable and, from then on, by road to São Domingos de Asseca. This area is characterized by its willows and cane-plantations.

It is born to th north of Évora, at the Fontainhas hill, and has its mouth at a distance of ten kilometres of São Marcos do Campo, Reguengos de Monsaraz, on the Guadiana river. It has areas of dense woods and others that are more rocky, in a full quite lovely scenery.

Located south of Chaves, between Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar, the mountain range is part of the Trás-os-Montes Ancient Massif and is 10 kilometers long. From the top, views over the entire region are enjoyed, with highlights including Oura, Vidago, and Vilarinho.

The Serra de Montejunto is fifteen kilometers long and reaches 666 meters at its highest point, from where you can enjoy a vast panorama. The dominant vegetation is holm oak and kermes oak. There is a great abundance of water, coming from the springs that surround it.

Also known as Lagoa de Baixo, it has an elongated shape and connects with Lagoa da Barrinha via the so-called Vala da Cana. It is located in a wooded area with pine forests, stretching from the Quiaios dunes. There is a nearby beach and a forest with a picnic area.

A central white sand beach with a coastline of approximately 20 km: Costa de Prata. This beach is frequented mostly by young people and surfers, and it's worth noting that there's a youth hostel nearby. It offers vacationers a variety of water sports, including spearfishing, powerboating, surfing, and windsurfing.
