The Castro de Vila Cova à Coelheira is well signposted but to access to the site will have to go on foot or by all-terrain vehicle (about 2 km). There are visible to the wall and the remains of a medieval village probably developed around this castro. It's dated the first iron age.

This water spout with three faucets that pour water into three big granite shells is na example of the civil architecture rococo and neoclassic. In its centre there is a coat of arms of the Royal Portuguese House with a closed crown atop. It was built by the master mason Jacinto de Matos.

Chapel built in the mid 18th century by Captain Ordinances and Knight of the order of Christ, João Marques de Oliveira. In the early 19th century, the Church was restored, having been incorporated into the tiles of the chapel. Already in the 20th century was built the new wing and the modern chapels.

Solar integrated Chapel Visconde de Vila Maior, dating from 1490. Inside deserve reference the main altar, decorated with carved, and the fake barrel vault in caissons, painted still lifes and religious scenes. In front of the chapel there is a source with the image of Santo António.

Protobarroca funerary chapel built in 1696\/97. Here is the sepulchre of the Prior Francisco de Azevedo Walks, one of the pastors of the Church of Santa Maria that more works done inside. In the interior, especially the tile attributed to Gabriel del Barco, dated from 1676.

Located in the old palace of the Baron de Trovisqueira, the Museum Bernardino Machado is a space which seeks to dignify the memory of this illustrious statesman famalicense. The collection consists of multiple cores and depicts the period 1835 to 1944. There's still room for temporary exhibitions and regularly are promoted workshops.

An important element of the industrial archaeology, the Fábrica da Pólvora de Barcarena (Barcarena's Gunpowder Factory) has a high historic and cultural interest. Through the recovery of several buildings and equipments that testify to the making of gunpowder an interesting space of leisure and culture has been created.

The Casa de Fundevila was built in the 16th century and offers eight well-furnished rooms, dining room, library with a terrace with a phenomenal view, a small rural Museum and a wine cellar where wine tasting guided. Abroad, especially the gardens, the swimming pool and the barbecue.
