Granite monument, based on square base, which aims to pay homage to this inescapable figure in the history of Portugal.

This statue is in front of the fire-station of the Bombeiros Novos de Aveiro, paying a sincere tribute to the peace soldiers.

The Teófilo Braga garden, paying homage to the poet, writer and teacher with the same name, is also known by Parada Garden for being the former yard of the quarter parade. The statue paying homage to the feminine popular rebellion of Maria da Fonte, placed in the garden in 1920, is the origin of its other name, besides Campo de Ourique for it is the only one in this area. At the beginning of the decade the garden was recovered, equipped with new fittings and keeping some patrimonial elements. It is a tree area with two lakes and a playground.

The Companhia das Lezírias is famous for its wines and its horse breeding. Its restaurant is also quite appreciated with fine dishes of the Ribatejo region. On saturdays the motto is: those who can eat all the country buffet won't have to pay for their meal. It is a rather well served banquet, meaning every customer will pay their bill in the end. On sundays, on can enjoy the "cozido bravo ribatejano" for only 15.5 €. A welcoming space where reservations are recommended, mostly on the weekends.

Situated in the Iberian pyrite belt track Alentejo, composed initially of two mines St. John and dens. Is attested in this mining site since there are 2000 years, albeit with periods of interregnum. The Louções Hill belongs to the Natural Park of the Sâo Mamede Hill. It has pre-historic sites with cave paintings, such as the Gruta da Igreja dos Mouros (Cave of the Moors' Church).

Sited at the Avenida da Boavista, the Green Center has 19 commercial establishments, some of each being restaurants, divided in an 800m2 commercial area. It is still a residential and office building.

A place where olive oil, wine, and cereal production, small businesses, and pastoralism are prominent. Among its architectural heritage, the most notable monuments are the Roman bridge (a National Monument), the Roman dam, the chapel of St. Sebastian, the chapel of Senhor da Ladeira, the old town hall building, and the jail. Crafts include cork, lace, and oak chairs.
