Construída sobre a margem do rio Tejo, a Torre Vasco da Gama possui um terraço panorâmico a 145 metros que proporciona uma bela vista sobre a cidade de Lisboa, o Parque das Nações, a Ponte Vasco da Gama e o rio Tejo. Para ali chegar terá que subir num elevador panorâmico. Reabriu em 2023 com um jardim vertical natural e um bar com cocktails.

As one follows the Lima river and heads to its spring to the east, which is the say the border with Spain, is impressed by the contrast in the landscape: from the green fields of Ponte de Lima to the rough "watercolour" of Lindoso. Nonetheless, the most impressive feature is the fabulous views one has from the Serra Amarela (Yellow Hill). From there, one views the biggest reservoir in the Iberian Peninsula (the Lindoso Reservoir) and a wide part of the Lima valley. The most daring may try and ascen to the antenae.

Of the castle complex, the Keep stands out – almost 40 meters high – dating from the time of King Dinis, made of marble, with a twin window and a machicolated balcony surrounding it. A masterpiece of military architecture, the Tower of Beja has great historical and monumental value. Of the defensive constructions of Roman origin, only the arch of the Porta da Vila (Town Gate) and the arch of the Porta de Évora (Évora Gate) remain. The Porta da Moura (Moorish Gate) is the only vestige of the medieval fortification.

The fortress stands on the eastern spur of Serra da Arrábida, from which you can see an extensive landscape from Sines to Sintra. Its main points of interest are the entrance, the 17th century walls, the convent of the Order of Santiago, the church of Santiago, from the 15th century, the Paços de D. Jorge, the turrets, the 14th century keep, the ruins of the church of Santa Maria, the parade ground and several portals. There is also the Castle Nucleus, one of the museum spaces of the Palmela Municipal Museum.

Small town located on the right bank of the ribeira de Valongo, which serves as a natural landmark to delimit the parishes of Reigoso and the Village bridge. The most obvious vestiges are the system of fortifications, comprising a moat and three lines of walls. The first line of wall encircles the upper stronghold, causing a broad platform where if there are some remains of buildings. The second, near the previous one, is well visible and enhanced by a third, in half-moon. West defense is complemented by a wide and deep moat excavated in outcrop.

City closely linked to the Templars and the Order of Christ. When they arrived to Portugal, they spread castles across different domains, but Tomar was the center of the territory. After the castle, they built the "Charola" of Convento de Cristo, considered the most beautiful and well-preserved religious building of the Templars in Europe. Bathed by the River Nabão, Tomar has one of the historic centers in Portugal with the highest number of monuments, with emphasis on the churches of São João Baptista and Santa Maria dos Olivais and the Old Synagogue.

Granite Manor House located in the village of Rooks, at the foot of the Serra do Larouco. Dating from the 18TH century, more precisely of 1780, this House once belonged and hosted illustrious Barrosões, as the Priest João Álvares de Moura. Later it was transformed into agricultural House and, in 2002, it was classified as Municipal interest Property. He currently works as a unit of Rural tourism, with three double rooms and three suites, library, patio, Garden, Boardwalk, threshing floor, meeting room and an interesting Sundial in granite.

A neoclassicist chapel, dating back to the 18th century, with a longitudinal plan and the interior decorated with neoclassicist retables. In 1956 the main façade was covered by white and blue tiles. On the left side we can see Saint Anthony and read and inscription that says: "Fábrica do Carvalhinho" (Carvalhinho Factory) and below "Capela de Santo António do Telheiro" (Chapel of Saint Anthony of Telheiro). On the right side we can see an image of Our Lady of Fátima and an inscription that reads: "Restored in the year 1956".

A caldeirada é uma especialidade com origem nas refeições que os pescadores preparavam a bordo das embarcações para recuperarem do esforço da faina, utilizando para a confeção os peixes com menos valor comercial. Diz-se que onde há pescadores há caldeira, mas também se verifica que este prato varia consoante a zona do país. Esta receita é à moda de Setúbal.

O Alentejo apresenta uma grande diversidade gastronómica, alternando com pratos de carne ou peixe consoante a época do ano, sendo os legumes e o pão elementos fundamentais na confeção dos pratos. Esta receita serve normalmente como entrada, em substituição da tradicional sopa. Na altura da segurelha (erva aromática), recomenda-se que se junte um pezinho juntamente com o feijão.
