Possibly built upon a Lusitanian hill fort, this castle sits on a hill. It retains some sections of the wall, gates, a small tower, and a cistern with a regular plan. It is possible to observe the perimeter of the wall that surrounded the inner courtyards and the Keep. From a distance, it resembles a king's crown planted on a mound of earth.

Castle consisting of a wall with two towers and a keep. Located atop a granite outcrop overlooking the village, it dates from the 14th century. Notable features include the straight-arched loopholes, rectangular-faced merlons, and pointed-arch main gates. The walls have an irregular configuration and an exposed parapet.

This medieval cistern of wealthy proportions dating from the 14th century and is by the door of the hole. Function was to collect and store rainwater and was the main reservoir that supplied the population. In 1950 went on to serve only for domestic watering, given the implementation of the public water supply system, but continues to be a significant architectural testimony of rainwater.

This group of buildings, similar to a neighborhood, supported the pilgrimages from the Brotherhoods of Nossa Senhora das Neves. All houses have two floors and some have stairs to access the balconies. You can also see a fountain, with a spout and a rectangular sink and the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora das Brotas.

Set of two chapels with features of Mannerist and Baroque architecture. It is believed that the Santo Antonio Chapel is the oldest, having been built between the 15th and the 17TH century, and the Calvary Chapel date from the 19th century. The Santo Antonio Chapel are still visible the arms of families Queiroz, George and Cabral.
Capela de São Frutuoso

Built between 650 and 665, with the name of São Salvador de Montélios, by the bishop of Braga, São Frutuoso, it was probably rebuilt in the X or XI century, being the only Roman- Byzantine art exemplar in Portugal. Later, the São Francisco Convent, from the XVII century, kept the chapel as an annex.
