A place of particular beauty and unusual entertainment in the hottest months of the year. The Marina de Lagos is divided into three areas: the marina, the residential area and the commercial area. Walk along the sidewalk, in Portuguese pavement, that borders the marina and let yourself be enveloped by the pleasant atmosphere of the place. Enjoy the green spaces and the sports and leisure facilities that exist here. At the end of the day, regain strength in one of the restaurants located in the area.

The trail begins at the portinho da Fajã dos Vimes and follows along the coast toward the Fajã dos Bodes and then towards the Lourais, passing through a thicket of incense and beech. The route continues toward the Fajã de São João, a very characteristic village, where small houses, narrow streets and traditional sidewalk create a unique ambience and very enjoyable. In this fajã there is also a small fishing port.

The trail descends to Fajã da Praia do Norte, a fajã formed initially by debris and later by lava, with the occurrence of eruption of Cabeço do Fogo. The fajã is marked by the presence of the Ribeira de Adam, along which the trail continues. A little further you will find praia da fajã, recommended by locals for the practice of surf. This route passes in an area classified as a site of Community interest and Special protection area.

Pedestrian trail with a length of around eight kilometers, along which you will pass through beautiful green fields and some small waterfalls. The trail runs along Rua de São José, with Ribeira das Barrelas on your right. This path presents several views over the south coast of São Miguel Island and, on days with good visibility, you can even see Santa Maria Island.

Located in one of the most famous streets of town, in the heart of the Historic Center of Ponte de Lima, this brewery with a relaxed atmosphere has its own personality due to the collection of international and national icons that occupy the space, such as Che Guevara or the Portuguese musician Zeca Afonso. On party nights, the entire street becomes a kind of open-air disco, where bars serve drinks and music comes from everywhere.

The Boa Nova waterfront area is a project by Álvaro Siza Vieira and António Madureira. Start your tour at Praia do Aterro, with walkways between the dunes and passing by a Surf Camp, continuing along Praia da Senhora da Boa Nova, until you see the famous Farol da Boa Nova. Finish with a visit to the Casa de Chá da Boa Nova, designed by Siza Vieira.

Located in a valley adjacent to the Serra dos Candeeiros, it is bathed by a stream that originates in the picturesque site of Olhos de Água. Here, you'll find beautiful natural caves and rooms with stalactites, calcite crystals, and remains of bones. Among the architectural heritage, a megalithic dolmen (Property of Public Interest) attached to the church stands out, containing a fifteenth-century sculpture, and traces of Roman times, evident in the ruins of a communal oven.

A village located on the foothills of the Sirigo mountain, that owes its name to the abundant aechaeoligical vestiges of the region, menhirs, dolmens and graves carved on the rocks. Mostly two megalithic monuments are worth a visit, the necropolis of Lareira de Cima and the menhir of the Valley of Maria Pais. The houses feature a regional architecture, with ornamented romanesque windows. A special note to the mother church and to the chapels of Saint Silvestre and of Saint Miguel as well.

Manuel Ribeiro de Paiva was born in Pavia in 1910 and was a neorealist draftsman, watercolorist and illustrator. His illustrations can be seen in books by writers, such as Alves Redol. The themes of his works refer, above all, to the Alentejo and the peasants. He died in 1957. This space has been operating in his honor since 1984 and preserves around twenty paintings, original drawings, some reproductions and several illustrated books.

On this site you can learn a little more about the lagoons of Bertiandos and São Pedro de Arcos, which develop around the banks of the river Estorãos, where the predominant spontaneous vegetation indigenous higrófila. There are several routes, always in contact with nature, and many activities related to the environment, since summer workshops, the adventurous sport or equestrian activities. Guided tours only take place upon appointment.
