Located on a fertile valley surrounded by the ocks of the Freita massif, this rustic village is composed of granite constructions with slate rooftops that still hav thei original aspect. The inhabitants ar farmrs and cattle raisers. For those who enjoy hunting and a nice meal, there is an old hunters association that organizes vents and offers lodging.

Those who visit can enjoy the shade of leafy trees, playground, picnic tables, tennis court and ping-pong table, street basket tables, ring and fitness circuit. It also has parking and an area for bicycles.

Baroque chapel and revivalist, dated 1731, with a longitudinal plan consists of a nave and a rectangular sacristy. Is adossado to this chapel a wall of the farm with a revivalist portal with triple pediment divided by cornices, who is believed to have been built in the 19th century. This portal features an image of Saint Michael fighting the devil and flanked by angels.

Known as "the strangest in the world", Casa do Penedo is located in the Serras de Fafe. It was built in 1974 to be used as a holiday home, being perfectly integrated into the landscape. Built almost entirely in rock, it arouses the curiosity of many visitors, who can now opt for some experiences on site, such as lunches or guided tours.

An extremely important set of megalithic monuments is located in the southern part of the municipality of Vila do Bispo. The megalithic concentration is composed of 80 menhirs and a wide spoil of artefacts. The building of menhirs is related to rituals and to the physical and spiritual cooperation of the people who settled in the coastal areas (zones without any natural defenses).

The class for this Monument is religious, with Baroque features: the angels, the volutes on the façade and the drapery on the marble altarpiece, besides the blue and white glazed tiles. Its construction was done by the hands of Thomaz de Barros (person who puts the glazed tiles) and António Sequeiro (the painter). The oil paintings should also be pointed out.
