The Ribeira is most likely the most tourist city of Porto. Features a water pipe on tubular box and a cylindrical construction to protect the headwaters and the mother of water.

18th century building with a main façade of six cloths, with four and five floors. It was founded in 1550 as University College, by Dom João III. It was rebuilt in 1715 and, in 1834, the School was extinct. The original building, only a few corners on the outside and the inside arcades.

This monument is considered to be the ex-libris of the city. Dated from 1728, this tower with 34 meters height is richly decorated and composed by several overlapped bodies. On the last floor are the clock and a belvedere on top.

Building of three floors and longitudinal rectangular plant, built in the 17th century. In 1935 its Tower fell, having noise part of the building. During the 20th century it housed the jail and is currently Public Security Police Headquarters.
