Statue built to pay homage to the poet and pedagogue João de Deus (1830-1896). It is sited in a place called the “poets’ retreat” where also are several statues and effigies of famous poets that have been in the students’ city.

Bronze statue raised to pay homage to the eminent professor and surgeon Bissaya Barreto (1886-1974). It has a stone basis with the following inscription: “Let us do our children happy”.

At the Penedo da Saudade, on of the most romantic spots of Coimbra, there is a place called the “retiro dos Poetas” (the poets retreat), where are several effigies of famous Portuguese, among which the Eça de Queirós effigy.

Urban building of quadrangular, with two floors and roof in coverage of four waters. Highlighted by a panel of tiles dating from the 18th century, representing our Lady of the conception.

Set of two cruises, one dated 1622 and the other of 1623. The cell Cross features four steps, a base with two inscriptions and a simple, unadorned cross. The cross of the monastery features a pedestal box, a simple Doric column and a small cross with Crown of thorns and an inscription.

Cruise ship built in the seventeenth century, with a templete of classical inspiration, a domed roof supported by four pillars and, inside, a flat forend column and the image of Christ Crucified.

Public fountain from the D. João V period, with two ajutages and a large tank. This magnificent baroque construction is located in front of the Manga Garden, at the place where the Santa Cruz Tower once was. It is sided by the Montarroio stairs.
