The restaurant and cafeteria service from the Tangerine Color emphasizes the ovo-lacto-vegetarian, and the use of natural products, organic and fair trade also. This house-museum, dedicated to the fishermen of Nazaré, was inaugurated on December 11, 1999, and is the result of a private initiative by a Nazaré native who loved the traditions of his land. This is a museum dedicated to Christopher Columbus and his presence in Porto Santo, highlighting period furniture, engravings of Christopher Columbus, reproductions of clothing from that time, and a series of manuscripts, including the logbook of his 3rd voyage. Of particular note is the exhibition depicting the sinking off the north coast of the island of the galleon Sloot Ter Hooge, belonging to the Dutch East India Company, and the matamorras, the pits where cereals were stored.
