This building is what is left of the very ancient Pintos de Begide Manor, a descendant of Dom Tructezendo Guedes, Lord of the Paiva Lands, where, according to local tradition, he lived with his daughter and his grand-daughter Dona Maria Teresa Taveira, who would be the mother of Saint Anthony. The building is very badly preserved. It can be acceded on foot along an earth path.

The house consists of 2 distinct parts: the first is characterized by the porch and the columns that support it; the second, with a single floor, becomes symbolic due to the façade, on which the coat of arms, the plaque and the framed door are located.

A National Monument since 1910, this peculiarly shaped building is the only example of Romanesque civil architecture in the entire Iberian Peninsula, which has a pentagonal shape. Located in the Cidadela area, it was built in the 13th century and, although it is not known exactly what motivated its creation, it is known that it served as a cistern and meeting point for the “good men”, who were responsible for the analysis of matters of interest and justice.

This fountain, one of the oldest in Viseu, has two spouts, both of them dry, one of which covered by wood. One of the fountains, the one that stands on the span of the gothic arch, is medieval, dates back to the 16th century and was commanded by a princess of Castille who was the wife of Dom Manuel I. The other fountain, under the 1600s small temple, was built later. There is also a small granite square by it and benches.

16th century church with Manueline portal, consisting of nave and chancel. The façade is distinguished by the Royal arms, with the date of 1808, and a Latin cross in the top. Inside are an altarpiece of João de Rouen, the talha, the paintings of the caissons and the two painted canvas of lateral cloths, representative of the visitation and da Nossa Senhora da Conceição. In 1810 was the target of attack by the French troops who destroyed the registry's mercy.

This islet plan with about twenty hectares of extension was classified as Partial Natural Reserve in 1984. The whole island and the adjacent coast were classified as a Special Protection area due to the importance of its avifauna. Here can be found several species, with emphasis on the common tern cagarro, garajau – rosado and angelito. Access is prohibited but, for those who want to see, just go to the viewing point of the tip.
