Built in the XVIII century, in baroque style, it is the most beautiful exemplar of the palaces and manors of the city old area, fit in the so called beirão baroque. It is a manor built with robust materials with stone of arms over the main entrance.

Construction built in the XVIII century, most precisely in 1743 and where lived the Fonseca Coutinho, Viscounts of Portalegre. It is a palace with a U plan with baroque elements.

It belonged to the Franciscan until 1526 and to the Santo Agostinho Eremites until 1834. In the end of the XVII century and beginning of the XVIII century the convent was rebuilt. From the original plan only stands the Manueline granite portal of the main façade.

This is a fifteen hundreds construction which underwent profound transformations during the 18th century, from which we stand out the garden outline under Italian influences. During quite some time this building was the residence for Guarda Bishops.

Project with plan of the architect Salles Viana, the agency of the Banco de Portugal was opened in 1892. It is an example of undefined period of production that presents characteristics from the classicism, baroque and gothic.

This round arch, in tunnel, is placed in the historic area of the city. T is an ancient part of the wall.

A Ponte do Infante D. Henrique liga o Porto a Vila Nova de Gaia, tendo sido inaugurada em 2003. O projeto é de Adão da Fonseca e Francisco Milanes Mato. Foi batizada em honra do Infante D. Henrique, nascido no Porto.

This tower was part of the Palace that was being rebuilt, suffering constant changes to be fully dismantled during the first quarter of the 20th century.

Building constructed inside the perimeter of the ancient town that sheltered the bishop’s palace of Guarda. Its structure includes a tower, set in the domestic architecture from the end of Middle Age.

Built in the XVI century, it doesn’t keep, with the exception of the walls, marks of that period. The main façade presents renaissant and baroque ornaments. Inside are worthy of notice the XVIII century paintings.
