Florbela Espanca was born in 1894 in Vila Viçosa. Was a writer and poet and his life is associated with various troubles, patents on his literary production and in your life. She was married three times, but it is believed that the lack of itself wasn't stable or positive, despite being a beautiful woman by many who knew her. Thirty-six years after his birth, on his birthday, commits suicide in Matosinhos, Portugal, where he lived. Years later his remains were moved to Vila Viçosa, where there is a statue and a movie theater with his name.

Chapel of popular architecture, being modest and with thick masonry plastered. It is prized by two portals carved in white marble and protruding rope type door jambs. Note also the frescoes from the 17th century and beginning of the 19th century in the vault of the chancel. It is also known as the Lord's Chapel of Senhor dos Passos or Wounds.

The Church, dating from 1528, was an institution of a beatério aimed at elderly women and the poor. It has a main facade with a portico and a large granitic late-eighteenth-century window. Inside the ship with cannon, dome-shaped cover arcade beat, chorus and chancel of arch, round.

Manueline cruise which subsists only marble base and the forend, developing into two vertical records separated by a row being the Manueline upper register of twisted rib.

Chapel situated on a small elevation, in the old Rossio das Hortas, surrounded by houses on both sides and with a front patio. Ancient records do repackage its existence to the year 1536. It was then remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside are murals, chronicling nine moments of life of St. Peter. The paintings have a baroque nature and are subtitled in archaic Portuguese.
