From this viewpoint we can get fine panoramic views over the town from the top, the green hills around and, in the background, the sea. In the surrounding mountains often found herds of cows.
In the village with the same name, is hidden Praia da Figueira. Although there are plates, automobile access is limited, duly signposted. From a certain point, there is a narrow path to a few meters to the beach. This is flat, without oscillations and very quiet.
