It was the first space dedicated the show to take in the year 800 and restored in 1876 with the name Nabantino Theatre. In 1901 the first film screening that tomarenses could watch. The Paradise Theater closed definitely to the public in 1991, after being acquired by the Câmara Municipal de Tomar in 1997, which undertook to renovate the building in ruins and inaugurate the current space in 2002. Hosts all kinds of shows, including plays and film sessions, boasting a capacity of 418 people.

Classified as a national monument, it is one of the ex-libris of the city and one of the most original examples of the Baroque style in Portugal, having been built at the behest of D. João de Mendonça, Bishop of Guarda, around 1720. It features five lakes on the main slope, where the water features stand out, while the intermediate one has the Lago das Coroas and the Stairs of the Apostles and Kings, where all the Portuguese monarchs are represented. On the upper deck is the Staircase of Moses.

At the highest point of the city, at 1056 meters of altitude, is the Castelo da Guarda, better known as Torre de Menagem. The town was inhabited by order of Dom Sancho I, who granted it a charter and privileges in 1199, and transferred the seat of the diocese to here. This first charter was confirmed by the same king in 1217, 1229 and, later, in 1254, by Dom Afonso III. In 1510, Dom Manuel granted it a new charter and granted his son, Dom Fernando, the title of Duke of Guarda.

The construction of this convent started in the 15th century and was founded by Dona Francisca de Azambuja, a descendant of one of the most ilustrious families in Barreiro. Its architecture is simple and austere. It went through several works, namely at the beginning of the 18th century. When the religious orders were extinguished it became a farm for the summer vacations. In 1995, the building, that belonged to the town hall, as recovered and restored. It currently has an auditorium, a section of the municipal library, a bar and a centre of temporary exhibitions.

The Fundação Maria Isabel Guerra Junqueiro and Luís Pinto de Mesquita Carvalho, placed in front of the Museum-House with the same name, is a private foundation without lucrative ends, which includes a large bibliographic heap of Guerra Junqueiro, her daughter and son-in-law. The palace, dated from the XVII century, where this foundation is placed, is open to visit the permanent exhibition or any other events happening there, always regarding the life and work of the Portuguese writer.
