This statue is a tribute of Aveiro to Doctor Lourenço Peixinho, a city autarchist during the 20ies, who contributed to the development of the city. It’s located in the main avenue, which has the same name.

Set of two sources, one of them of diving and the other of backrest, both in unit of granite ashlars. Diving fountain presents a simple rectangular plan, a round arch that gives access to the tank and a gable roof. The backrest features a front staircase that gives access to a rectangular space and a backrest in triangular pediment.

This Environmental Interpretation Center aims to simultaneously pay tribute to Dalberto Pombo (a citizen who dedicated much of his life to research and teaching in the field of natural history), establish a multifunctional space focused on environmental issues, and enhance Vila do Porto's built heritage.

Casa de turismo rural with three floors, the family Rovisco Pais since the 18th century. It was completely remodeled and equipped with all amenities and ready to receive visitors. It has green areas, swimming pool, wine cellar and is near the historic location of the White House.

A small palace of bourgeois features, where one should notice the symmetry of the façades and the axis of the prominent main façade. One should also pay close attention to the grandeur of the atrium and the stairway leading up to the main floor, as well as the mural paintings in some of the rooms.

Located on a rise of about 70 meters, west of the monastery, Alcobaça Castle was commissioned by King Afonso Henriques in 1147, on the presumed ruins of a 6th-century fortification. Destroyed several times during the Reconquista, King Sancho ordered its reconstruction to shelter the Alcobaça monks and the population in case of attack. After suffering several seismic shocks, it ended up serving as a prison during the reign of the Philips.

The Torre de Menagem (donjon) was built by D. Dinis order in 1324. The tower and the enclosed space were used as royal prison from the XIV to the XVIII century. The inside, completely remodelled with a modern iron and wood structure, lodges an interesting museological nucleus, which illustrates the medieval military techniques and the fighting instruments. The castle can be also known through a series of audiovisual documents.
