Initially built as the Jesuit College Church, the first stone was laid in 1652. However, construction only began in 1680. The buildings that flank it were never finished and today houses the Museum of Horta and the City Hall. The church became a parish church in 1825, due to the advanced state of degradation of the previous church. The church's facade is made up of four floors and its interior is made up of a single nave and three interconnecting chapels.

Fort located at the foot of Serra da Arrábida. Its tower is dated from 1390. In 1572 it suffered enlarging works and was completely remodelled after the Restoration War. The chapel, covered with glazed tiles from the XVIII century, is worthy of notice. In the XIX century it was a prison and later the holydays residence of King D.Carlos and Queen D. Amélia. In 1909; it became a hospital for orthopaedic diseases and maintains its function until today.

Church founded by King John I in 1564, although it has been open to the cult in 1569. Located in the historic centre of the town, has a small terrace, with the same name as the patron of the Church, given the existence, prior to the construction of the Church, of a gathering of devotees Claustrais de Santo António. The name comes from the fact that the farm belonged to Luís Gomes Mata, "Correio-Mor" (chief of the post delivery) at the time of Filipe II. Built in the 18th century, the palace might have been designed by the Italian António Canevari, one of the architects of the Convent of Mafra. It is preceded by an emblazoned door leading to the patio. Inside, the tiles and stucco ceilings with paintings by José da Costa Negreiros stand out. In the gardens, the waterfalls and tiles with mythological scenes stand out.
