Small fajã located west of Fajã das Pontas, where there's a handful of houses, some with cistern. Passes through here-although only in winter-a small ribeira. The access path is steep but offers fantastic views.

This trails is 13 km long and there is the possibility of a smaller 4 km long path. It starts at the Parque de Merendas da Penoita (Penoita's Picnic Area) and is in full touch with nature, as well as a few archaeological vestiges.

An 18th century garden with a French influence that has paths alligned according to the cardinal points, sided by bushes that make original green mazes.The waterfall is located in the middle of a salmon coloured gallery line with terraces and gardens.

This park boasts abundant shrub and tree vegetation, including chestnut trees, willows, cedars, cryptomeria, and araucaria. A network of paths traverses some of the sanctuary's stairway levels. It also features small lakes, fountains, and grottoes.

Tumulus barely visible in the landscape, located next to the path on the West side. Features a low tumuli and a crater of about three meters violation, not being visible traces of dolmen. Belongs to the Megalithic necropolis of the Mourela plateau.

Good signs during the unpaved path which can be made on foot or by off-road vehicle, until reaching the monument that is clearly visible. Appears to be the remains of a rock sanctuary, probably dated from the iron age.

Composed of two beaches (of the fortress and of the Path of the monastery) boasts crystal clear waters, coral reefs, sea caves and the Fort of São João Baptista, must-see. Is not monitored and is only accessible by boat from Peniche.

Located on the southern edge of Central Alentejo, this mountain range features evergreen deciduous forests dominated by cork oak and holm oak groves. Here, we find a rich fauna, particularly in terms of birds and predatory mammals. Its maximum elevation is 420 meters.

This is a restaurant, snack-bar, attended by long time clients. The francesinhas (toasted sandwich of beef, ham, sausage and cheese with rich sauce) and special hot dogs are famous but, for those who prefer more consistent dishes, the menu presents varied traditional Portuguese recipes.

This tour begins in the Luís de Camões Garden, where you can find a Tourism Office. Cross the 5 de Outubro Street and enter the Rodrigues Lobo Square. This is the centre of the city, the ideal place to relax under the cinquentist arcades animated by pleasant esplanades. In one of the corners, the statue of the poet Rodrigues Lobo (1579-1621) points out the right direction. Follow through the Miguel Bombarda Street and notice the Misericórdia Church, built on an ancient synagogue.
