Located on the south bank of the Tâmega River and bordering Santa Maria de Sobretâmega, the Church of São Nicolau, next to the old Canaveses Bridge, displays a late design within the context of Portuguese Romanesque architecture, evident in its column-less, capital-less portals and plain corbels. This church preserves, though very fragmented, important remains of mural painting from the 16th and 17th centuries.

On the right bank of the River Douro, and 25 kilometers from Porto, lies the Medes campsite. The topography and flora characteristics in the Douro Valley make this park a peculiar structure, with disposal in terraces and wooded alveoli. The scenic beauty of the region and the River make this space an ideal place for rest and recreation. Enjoy sporting activities to practice yet, such as fishing, tennis or enjoy the scenery through magnificent hiking routes.

On one of the banks of the Vouga River, next to the new thermal baths of São Pedro do Sul, lies one of the oldest Roman thermal baths, making it one of the most important archaeological monuments from this period. It is a Roman thermal area composed of a tepidarium, a caldarium, a sudatorium, and a laconicum (dry greenhouse), comprising a set of five pools. It is also known as the Dom Afonso Henriques Pool.

Although its dating is difficult, it is assumed to have been built during the late Romanesque period, judging by the construction technique, exhibiting a Gothic character due to its trestle-style deck. Formed by a single perfect arch, with the pillars rising directly from the banks (a feature that ensures greater longevity for Romanesque bridges compared to Roman ones) it provides communication between the villages of Bustelo and Boim.

Small picnic Park, wooded lot which provides shade. Has artificial lighting, and barbecue grills. The site it is possible to observe a vast countryside and nearby localities.

This small 17th century fortress has a small chapel with 18th century tiles. In 1976 the fortress was given to the Armed Forces social services to be used as a vacation site.

It is located in the Gameiro Ecological Park, close to the Mora River. It was created by the Gameiro Dam, on the Raia River, and has a camping site, picnic area and a tree climbing park.

Chapel of Baroque architecture featuring longitudinal plant simple, single space preceded by a closed porch. The facades show corners apilastrados and are topped off in frieze and cornice. The main altarpiece is of gilt and polychrome, and Johannine period. Is a very simple Chapel. The penthouse has pictorial representation of the four Evangelists, St. Luke and St. mark the attributes change.

Building where stands out the decorative stonework, masonry tile and padded double frame mantel. The main door is articulated with window of verga in arch and apron with ornate relief, ripping between pilasters with bases and capitals in stonework, topped off, above the cornice, by stone urns. The first floor is intended for housing and to the Museum and the ground floor to trade.

The stone is writing a monolithic granite which features a geometric prints of the faces as well as simple circles and concentric with central dimple, and lattices formed by extensive horizontal and vertical lines. A question that probably has a symbolic significance-religious. The location of this place is not well signposted, access is possible only by dirt road through vehicles off-road.
