Fortified settlement called Pedregalho, located to the southwest of the village of Padornelos. With a philosophy based on haute cuisine and the sea as its main inspiration, Fortaleza do Guincho offers a daring incursion into traditional gastronomy. In 2001, the restaurant, with a strong influence of haute cuisine, won its first Michelin star that it still holds today.

An ancient oil press today gave place to a Museum and restaurant in an environment surrounded by greenery. Inserted in Heredad del Regato, the winepress restaurant serves typical cuisine of the region of Beira Baixa, cooked in a wood-burning oven. The environment, which dates back to ages past, whose brands were preserved in the recovery room, combines a sophisticated contemporary past. Octopus to the mill owner, olive oil drizzled bacalhoada traditional sausages are the delight of lovers of good traditional table.

The Mata do Choupal (wood) it’s one of the most beautiful places of the city, owning a flora and fauna herd to find in any other part of the country. It has few exemplars of the trees it was named after, with the exception of some specimens as the white poplar, the American poplar and the black poplar. Although the vegetation is getting old, the Choupal is still the most famous park in the city. It is here that you find the hippic centre of Coimbra and ride on horseback in this beautiful space.

Belonging to the set attached to the Águas Livres Aqueduct, an aqueduct, in stone, created to get water to the Terreiro do Paço de Queluz for consumption of the Royal Mews. The work was created in the place of two sources: the source of Gargantada and do Pocinho and served several fountains and fountains in Queluz. Built by d.
