It is, perhaps, the most representative store of crafts in the region and also works as a Tourist Office. Here you can find wooden Christs, regional dolls, embroidery, cheese, honey, carving and restoration work, ceramics, among other relics.

The House of the Cerrado is an ancient manor house built in granite, preserving intact the grandeur of yore. Located in the Centre of the village of Aguncho, typical of the Alto-Douro, and inserted in the vinho Verde demarcated region, is an excellent starting point to discover the region.

Statue that pays homage to João de Deus. João de Deus was an eminent lyrical poet who, during his lifetime, was considered to be foremost amongst his peers. He was also the pioneer of a new teaching method that aimed to simplify teaching reading to children, the Cartilha Maternal. He was very popular during his lifetime and as such was laid to rest at the National Pantheon (Panteão Nacional). To this day he is still referred to as the poet of love.

Located on a rocky Islet in the river Tagus, a Templar Castle warrant lift by Gualdim Pais, in the 12th century. Previously, it is believed to have existed a castro lusitano, improved by the Romans. The walls are flanked by ten towers that surround the keep and which gave the set an important defensive capabilities. Inside, there are several monumental doors that make communication between the different parts of the Castle. The access is made by river in a small boat crossing, lasting about five minutes.

This church façade maintains the masonry decoration from the 18th century and the doorway is still from the 17th century. The inside presents a nave with the plan in Latin cross. From the primitive construction from the ends of the 13th century it remains an pointed arch in granite.

Within the designated space for Caparinho field, in a shed attached to the river Assureira, are some rock engravings, of which stands out the Rock of Caparinho, now renamed Penedo of matrimony. Presents written two anthropomorphs, one male and the other female, with their genitals expressed, indicating rituals associated with human fertility. The figures present the show of hands, with oversized hands and are apparently kneeling. In the area surrounding the rock there are other engraved rocks, one corresponds to a granitic outcrop, where were made several dents from different dimensions, sometimes aligned, other connected by small grooves perforation. A settlement from the Iron Age (1st millennium BC - 4th century AD), this archaeological site is of great interest and has been the subject of successive interventions. It consists of the ruins of fortified settlements located at the northern foot of the hill on which Lanhoso Castle stands, now reconstructed and well preserved. Among the finds discovered, the set of 3 gold torques (Archaic Golden Jewels – distinctive objects of military leaders) worked with filigree applications stands out, anticipating the local art of gold working by more than 3,000 years.
