Medieval watchtower with a quadrangular plan. In 1997, archaeological excavations were carried out that allowed the recovery of hundreds of ceramic fragments.

This Romanesque-Gothic church, dating from the 13th century, is also known as the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption. Highlights include the bell tower, the ogival portico, and the rose window on the main façade.

This former railway bridge is now restricted to pedestrian traffic. Built of stone, it is composed of large arches.

This 15th-century monument is currently in ruins. Highlights include a sign with a poem by Engineer Mário Cruzeiro.

A typical settlement featuring traditional architecture, some of which feature houses built with pillars from Roman mills. The pillory and Roman mines in the area are noteworthy. Covas received a charter from King Manuel I in 1514.

A village situated in a scenic area, it boasts rustic granite houses scattered along irregular, winding streets. The population is dedicated to subsistence farming, which is predominant in the area. Cattle, chestnuts, and other agricultural products are the main source of local income. Located on a granite outcrop in the Aguiar Valley, there is a rock castle dating back to the 9th century. Interestingly, it is worth noting the existence of a music band, some 200 years old, composed of residents of the village and neighboring towns.
