The Portuguese Toy Museum is located in Casa do Arnado, on the right bank of the Lima River, next to the Roman bridge. It features a permanent exhibition of toys of Portuguese origin, dating from the end of the 19th century and extending until 1986. You can also appreciate the different manufacturing techniques and raw materials used in their design. Do not leave without going through the magnificent garden to the "Sala das Brincadeiras" and the "Oficina do Brinquedo", as well as the space dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

Placed on the north side of Rossio, the National Theatre Dona Maria II, which name pays homage to the daughter of Dom Pedro, was built in the 1840s by the Italian architect Fortunato Lodi. The façade of this neoclassic building is composed by six columns coming from the São Francisco Convent and is ended by a triangular fronton where the figures of Apollo and the Muses are sculpted. On top of the fronton is possible to see the statue of Gil Vicente, maybe the most important Portuguese dramaturge of all times, considered to be the father of the national theatre.

From this fortress, built at the end of the 16th century, one can view almost the entire Vila Nova de Milfontes. Originally built with a polygonal plan, with canon areas and two triangular bastions, it was damaged in seevarl ways in 1638. During the reign of D. João IV it underwent changes and its military capacity grew bigger. A model of the military mannerist architecture, it was later turned into a residence and a medieval turret with battlements was added to it. Currently, the trench and the walls are surrounded by vegetation and flowers.

Monte da Cerca was a fortified settlement with both residential and military functions, located on an isolated elevation overlooking Sendim da Serra, at the eastern end of the ridgeline that begins at Gouveia Castle, with which it is thought to be related. At the summit, an alignment of schist stones is visible, forming a slope that defines a line of walls that surrounded the hill. There were five ways, from the way of the Cross, that were built at request of the Confraria do Senhor dos Passos and Nossa Senhora da Soledade. The chapels are small, in carved granite and made by Manuel dos Santos Porto. The Passo do Passeio Alegre is at Passeio Alegre Street, at the end of the ramp that gives access to the São João da Foz Church. The Passo de Santa Anastácia is at the Padre Luís Cabral Street. There is another Passo at the Bela Street and at the Alto da Vila Street.

The Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação is a place of pilgrimage where many people goes in search of miracles. The first took place with Susana Dias who, supported by crutches, entered the chapel and laid down on the floor. At the moment of the elevation she wanted to kneel down, but in the end she got up, threw away her crutches and walked around the hermitage loudly proclaiming the miracle. It produced such a strong popular commotion that everyone helped in the construction of this Sanctuary of Senhora da Encarnação.

The Companhia das Lezírias is famous for its wines and its horse breeding. Its restaurant is also quite appreciated with fine dishes of the Ribatejo region. On saturdays the motto is: those who can eat all the country buffet won't have to pay for their meal. It is a rather well served banquet, meaning every customer will pay their bill in the end. On sundays, on can enjoy the "cozido bravo ribatejano" for only 15.5 €. A welcoming space where reservations are recommended, mostly on the weekends.

Installed in the magnificent hotel The Oitavos, this modern and refined restaurant features, like the hotel, glass walls that offer magnificent views of the sea and the dunes. The kitchen, the Chef Cyril de Villiers, presents a very particular combination of contemporary Portuguese and international cuisine, where seafood and fish are always ingredients present. Upon reaching the end of the meal, it becomes even more difficult to say goodbye, when it proves the result of years of experience of the Pastry Chef Joaquim de Sousa.

The café and the restaurant Caravela, in Castelo Branco, mixture inside various facets, the stainless counter to shed light that serves as a wine cellar, passing by traditional earthenware dishes and for paintings full of color and ending in the inevitable ... caravela, painted on one of the walls of the restaurant. Family-run space, serves the best traditional cuisine has to offer, from the goat stew maranhos. It also has lunch menus since €7,50 (boiled, pork Alentejo, black pork cheeks and mixed meat or fish).

The pedestrian walk may start at the Monastery of Saint João of Arga, after a brief visit of that building. Follow the Vezeira Trail, a typical trail where the cattle used to pass in the days of old. The Arga Mountain has a wide high plain on the top, the Chã Grande. At that point, there is a trail that is signaled by the Clube de Celtas do Minho (Celts Club of Minho), according to the criteria of the Federação Portuguesa de Campismo (Portuguese Camping Federation).
