Viewpoint located at the highest point of the Madeiran archipelago, at 1861 meters above sea level, and the 3rd highest in Portugal. Being a very rocky environment, flora species such as ferns, mosses and lichens persist, while the fauna that can be seen includes the Blackbird, the Madeira Chaffinch, the Madeiracrest, the Common Linnet and the Red-legged Partridge. The peak is accessible by road from Santana, or by a pedestrian route that starts from Pico do Arieiro. During the summer months, there is an inn that operates just below the mountain's summit.

The Church consists of two volumes and by a nave, chancel and vestry. On the facade can be seen two Windows of lintel rectum and, Center, on the pediment are the Crown and the Royal arms. Inside, one of the highlights is the chancel, late-Baroque style. The hospital consists of two floors, and in the second, you can admire a tile Panel commemorating the founding of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Almeida. The interior still preserves the mortuary and a former Fund-raiser, who had direct access to the Church.

There were five ways, from the way of the Cross, that were built at request of the Confraria do Senhor dos Passos and Nossa Senhora da Soledade. The chapels are small, in carved granite and made by Manuel dos Santos Porto. The Passo do Passeio Alegre is at Passeio Alegre Street, at the end of the ramp that gives access to the São João da Foz Church. The Passo de Santa Anastácia is at the Padre Luís Cabral Street. There is another Passo at the Bela Street and at the Alto da Vila Street.

This beautiful manor house has a central courtyard involved by galleries. It stands out in the access to the courtyard through an ogival chamfered arch in stone, the Duke de Cadaval Coat of Arms in glazed tiles and a sundial. The gate is in stonework, with straight lintel, framed by a lancet arch supported by corbels and crowned on the centre with Duke de Cadaval Coat of Arms. On its decorative elements it displays the Mudejar influence in design and technique conjugating with the Manueline. Decorating the building there are twin brick windows filled with decorative elements.

It is an extensive stretch of sand, between the sea and the Ria Formosa, located about 9 km from Faro city. Access is by boat, from Faro, or by car, crossing the only existing bridge for this purpose, with alternating traffic, which generates long queues. The different constructions took away some natural beauty, but brought more animation and structures to serve the tourist in the summer. The sand is narrow and relatively uneven. The Decadent Restaurant & Bar is the space of restoration of The Independent Hostel, situated in the Bairro Alto. It's a relaxed place, where you can sample traditional Portuguese cuisine with modern dishes by Chef Nuno Bandeira de Lima. The interior space, which can accommodate up to 50 people sitting, shall be increased by a private terrace, only accessible through the main entrance of the Hostel with a capacity of about 40 people.
