Small river beach located in a corner of the Minho River, in the parish of Gondarém, with white sand and easy parking. It has no infrastructure but, on the other hand, it offers magnificent views over the Minho River and Spain. It invites you to moments of tranquility and sunbathing on the sand, at the same time as it offers a fantastic landscaped environment, where typical riparian forest vegetation extends to the riverbank.

The Lenta river beach has a small sandy area, contrasting with the large surrounding leisure space. This verdant area, measuring around 30,000 square meters, has beautiful riparian forests that extend to the banks of the river. Located in the Parish of Lovelhe, next to INATEL, it has good access and good support infrastructure, such as a car park, picnic area, a bar and even a lifeguard. On the hottest days, go and sunbathe or take a dip on the banks of the Minho River.

The Convent of San Payo was founded by the Franciscan friar, Gonçalo Marinho, in 1932. After several adversities (the extinction of religious orders and a devastating fire), the convent was abandoned and fell into a state of complete degradation, with its assets disappearing, some looted and others transferred to chapels and churches in the municipality. In the 80s of the 20th century, the building was acquired by the sculptor José Rodrigues who, together with the architect Viana de Lima, completely restored it, taking care to preserve part of its original design. Fortified urban set, from the Medieval and Modern Period, with irregular blocks composed, for the most part, of rectangular buildings, with one or two floors. Currently, the center is used for tourist purposes.

Metallic sculpture of a deer, designed by sculptor José Rodrigues, located at Miradouro da Encarnação, one of the highest points in Vila Nova de Cerveira. The deer is the symbol of the municipality, and this work of art represents one of the region's main tourist attractions.

Also known as the Church of São Cipriano and of 16th century origin, the Main Church of Vila Nova de Cerveira is located on the main street of the town, consisting of three naves, two bell towers, a chancel and a main altarpiece, in the Baroque style, by master Veríssimo Barbosa. Pay attention to the details of the tabernacle, surrounded by angels and flanked by two quadrangular niches with sculptures representing the Adoration of the Magi and the scene of the Last Judgment. Protohistoric fortified settlement, surrounded by a wall built in earth, preceded by a moat, with the defensive system only partially preserved. Inside there are circular and rectangular buildings and an open Roman habitat, called a "villa".
