Located next to the upper deck of the D. Luís bridge, at the foot of Serra do Pilar, Jardim do Morro has an abundant green area, a children's playground, an esplanade and an open-air auditorium, often the stage for shows. There is a viewpoint with a panoramic view of the city of Porto and the Douro River.

The Fontaínhas Viewpoint is located in one of the historic areas of the city of Porto. It is located next to Ponte do Infante and, from here, you can see Vila Nova de Gaia, on the other side of the river, as well as part of the popular D. Luís I Bridge. It is also one of the most used places to see the fireworks foe the Saint John feasts.

In this gardened place you have privileged view over the Pavilhão Rosa Mota, The Douro River, Miragaia (district) and the neighbour city Vila Nova de Gaia.

If you go for a walk by the sea, this is an unavoidable place: at sunset, the sun touches the sea and the sky turns red, producing a nostalgic unique scenery. You may witness this from this large terrace.

It is the ex-libris of the city. A masterpiece by the Tuscan architect Nicolau Nasoni, the Tower built between 1731 and 1763 is a magnificent carved stonework, 75 meters high. The 240 steps of the spiral staircase lead to a balcony located in the terminal body and from where you can enjoy rewarding views over the city and surroundings.

This late 19th century garden, designed by the architect Emile David, has exotic plants, rose gardens, fountains, ponds, animals, statues, water mirrors, avenues, concert spaces, a children's space, belvederes and a chapel. Inside, it houses the Rosa Mota Pavilion, a sport and cultural events' venue, the Almeida Garrett Library, among other equipments. In this landscaped complex the Garden of Feelings deserves to be highlighted, as it offers an excellent panoramic over the river Douro.

O Paparico, no Porto, salvo marcação, só funciona ao jantar. É um restaurante decorado com alfaias agrícolas e fotografias que prefaciam o cardápio. É composto por duas salas confortáveis e acolhedoras onde poderá saborear bons pratos tradicionais. Apresenta uma boa lista de vinhos. Nas entradas apresenta o polvo com molho verde, as pataniscas e fumeiro de qualidade. Posta arouquesa, bacalhau assado na brasa com batatas a murro, polvo grelhado na brasa e arroz de bacalhau - entre outros pratos. No fim peça a mousse de chocolate ou limão, o leite creme queimado ou o pudim da casa.

A rather old restaurant, famous in this region, with a pleasant room and a friendly service. The menu offers varied traditional dishes and more than 20 desserts. Excellent wine list.
