Planned by the architect Carlos Amarante, this church was built along the XIX century, by initiative of the Ordem da Trindade, at the Largo do Laranjal. The façade is classical and the walls are filled with neo classical retables. It stands out, in the principal chapel, a big panel representing the Baptism of Christ, by the painter José de Brito. The religious order also has several painting works, such as the Resende’s portraits and several copies of Italian painters, such as Rafael, Ticiano and Caravaggio.

Puttanesca restaurant is an exquisite space with a decoration combining the rustic with the modern, where are posters and photographs of bullfights and films of the years 40, that create an environment of love taurine. The menu offers fusion dishes of Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. The combination of these flavors is made with skill by the owner and chef Nuno Santos. The funicular railway connects the lower part of Nazaré to Sítio, covering a total of 318 meters. It was inaugurated in 1889, as the difficulty of access to Sítio always hampered the development of the area and the settlement of its inhabitants. In 1963, after a major accident, it was out of service for several years, returning to service in 1968. In the 21st century, the carriages were renovated for greater comfort and safety for the more than one million users who use this means of transport annually.

The Stupa Tashi Gomang, a temple belonging to the Guhya Mantrika Buddhist community, is located in the Santa Susana Retreat Center in Alcácer do Sal. It is one of the largest Buddhist temples in the Western world, standing 16 meters tall with an internal temple measuring 36 square meters, prepared for rituals, ceremonies, and lectures. Among the materials used in its construction, Alentejo marble stands out. The decoration, particularly the statues, originates from Tibet and Nepal.

The construction date of this temple is estimated to be 1262, judging by the inscription at the entrance, although it may correspond to the reconstruction of an old 11th-century hermitage which, in turn, was built on a 7th-century Suevi-Visigothic building – archaeological excavations carried out in 1991 revealed a structure belonging to a pre-Romanesque temple. Of particular note is the existence of an image of Our Lady of Meinedo, in limestone and with traces of polychromy, which constitutes one of the rare examples of Romanesque sculpture in Portugal.

Founded in 1059 according to popular tradition, although the oldest documentary reference dates back to 1099, the Monastery of Pombeiro enjoyed privileges and justice of its own as early as 1112, as evidenced by the Charter of Couto granted on that date by D. Teresa. This monastic institution has been documented since 853, which makes it one of the oldest in the territory, although there is no material evidence of its first establishment. A settlement located at an altitude of approximately 700 meters, offering a beautiful view of the Côa Valley. It is a former municipal seat, where coats of arms can be found on the granite masonry houses and several mansions. Architectural highlights include the pillory, the main church, the Misericórdia Church, the Stations of the Cross, the town hall, and a 17th-century manor house. Cheesemaking and basketry make up the region's crafts.

The Centro de Estudos Camillians, housed in a beautiful and modern building designed by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, features an auditorium, reading rooms and temporary exhibitions, working offices, reservation and cafeteria, among other spaces. This Centre's main objective is to promote and study the figure and the work of Camilo Castelo Branco, preserving the institution's patrimony, in the fields of bibliography, handwritten documents, iconography and Visual Arts.
