Tumulus barely visible in the landscape, located a few meters from the road which connects Pitons to Tourém, belonging to the Megalithic Necropolis of the Mourela plateau. Features about 13\/14 metres maximum diameter, a central depression marked a "tumulus" down on Earth, not being visible traces of dolmen.

This Renaissance church was founded by Dom Pedro de Menezes in 1528. It has a unique facade, where the gable slopes symmetrically down to the pillars, opening into two arches. Of particular note are the carved stonework, the star-vaulted ceiling of the chancel, the early 17th-century tiles, the pulpit, and the wooden balcony.

House with exterior transmontana typically in schist and granite and Brown wood interior. It was built in the early 20th century and is located in the village of Vilarinho das Azenhas. It offers seven rustic and cosy rooms, a wine cellar transformed into tasquinha, a dining room and a kitchen where traditional Italian dessert made from dark rye bread and delicious baked goods. Abroad, there is also a nice garden with swimming pool.

This is one of many existing ponds on the island of Flores. Belong to the set of Seven Lakes that were formed into seven volcanic craters caused by the eruptions that gave rise to the island. The remaining ponds of this set are the White Pond, Long Pond, a shallow lagoon, Lagoa da Lomba, Deep lagoon and the Lagoa Seca. Its name comes from its dark waters due to depth, which reaches the 100 meters.

A vacation area par excellence, these pools are formed by the cutting of basalt rocks of a volcanic nature. This results in configurations of rare beauty and charm, of contrast between the dark rock and the blue of the sea. Those who wish can also come into direct contact with the sea, without using the pool transformed by human hands. Of particular note are the great views of the south side of the island, namely, Morro de Castelo Branco.

House where, according to tradition, inhabited Pedro Álvares Cabral, while alcaide-mor of Mangualde, former Azurara da Beira. Besides the fish dishes, the pork tenderloin is one of its specialities. In the winter, the prices drop down enormously due to the natural difficulty in fishing.

The construction of the Cape Espichel lighthouse, dating back to 1790, is linked to the first attempt of lighting up the Portuguese shoreline (known as the "dark coasts" by the British sailsmen until the second half of the 18th century). The lighting system was changed only in 1883. From then on, ther were several changes made in order to improve the signaling, both of sound and vision. Currently, the lighthouse can be viewd from a distance of 26 miles and is fully automated.

Upon entering the room of the Apuradinho, sit down as soon as the atmosphere is cosy. The menu highlights the flavors of traditional Portuguese cuisine, mainly, the hunting grounds. The Monday recently a plate of cod always different; Thursday, biweekly, is the day set aside to Cozido à Portuguesa. Finally, a sweet conventual to choose from.

Located in the historic area of ​​the village of Celorico da Beira, very close to the castle, stands this Cathedral of Serra da Estrela Cheese. The magnificent 17th-century building is worth a visit in itself. Dedicated to preserving the tradition of Serra da Estrela cheese, it is also part of the Farmer and Cheese Museum. Here you can buy and taste the famous cheese, as well as other regional delicacies such as black pudding, chorizo, ham, rye bread, honey, jams and wine.
