This granite building formerly served as a courthouse, jail, town hall, and farm union. It currently houses the Municipal Library. The building features the National Coat of Arms with eighteenth-century ornaments.

18th century palace of two storeys and v. plant was built in 1727 by the 8th count of Vimioso and 2nd Marquis of Valença, Don Francisco de Paula de Portugal e Castro. This building functioned as casino, high school, home of the Junta Autónoma de Agricultural Hydraulic works, extension of Oeiras high school and secondary school. He currently works as cultural Centre: Municipal Library, Dance Center of Oeiras and Centre for the study and dissemination of ancient music.

The Solar dos Albuquerques dates back to the 18th century and features 19th-century gates by the Italian architect Bigaglia. It follows the general lines of the 14th- and 15th-century style, featuring a beautiful continuous front, adorned with six apron windows. It houses the Sátão Municipal Library.

This space consists of an adult section with lending services, local access to books and periodicals, audio and video documents, multimedia self-education, and the internet. The children's and youth section is a space designed for children, where they can choose between lending services, local access, or the entertainment area where recreational and educational activities take place. It also has an auditorium for conferences, colloquia, training courses, and other events.
