Following the estradão of the plateau of Ameal and with the help of prehistoric circuit signage Chalet\/Watermill, will find a set of rock engravings in granitic rock which has cruciform motifs and simple represent anthropomorphic representations associated with, perhaps, the magic-symbolic aspects.

Located on a rocky Islet in the river Tagus, a Templar Castle warrant lift by Gualdim Pais, in the 12th century. Previously, it is believed to have existed a castro lusitano, improved by the Romans. The walls are flanked by ten towers that surround the keep and which gave the set an important defensive capabilities. Inside, there are several monumental doors that make communication between the different parts of the Castle. The access is made by river in a small boat crossing, lasting about five minutes.

This medieval oven, discovered in the 1950s, served as a communal oven, specifically for baking pottery, tiles, and other utensils. It measures approximately 1.5 meters on each side and has a grate on which the pieces to be fired were placed. The roof, made of tiles and stones, was dismantled once the firing was complete to remove the pieces.

The facade features a Romanesque portal with three archivolts with a full arch, decorated with angels in relief on columns with carved capitals. Two niches, with three images, flank the portal. Inside, 16th century frescoes and gilded altars stand out.

This infrastructure offers an outdoor sports venue, completely fenced, with tartan floor in an excellent state of conservation, without artificial lighting and with tennis network.

This pillory with about 2.5 feet tall has a base of two steps, a column without ornamentation and, on top, a frieze ill-defined and a ball.
