Medieval square where, according to tradition, the Holy Virgin Mary was brought by the apostle São Tiago, having been placed in a pagan temple in the square. Here, there was also a porch chapel, dating from the 17th century, dedicated to Santiago, which was demolished at the end of the 19th century.

Manor of inverted L-shaped plant with two floors, built in the late 18th century by the Viscounts de Proença-a-Velha. Has undergone several renovations over the years, saving yet, however, the floor, the ceilings and the original modinaturas. In 2005 it was installed here the Municipal Library.

This Mannerist and Baroque building was built in the beginning of the XVII century and was rebuilt on the XVIII century (after 1755 earthquake). During the XX century it was used as the City Hall and later it was rebuilt and transformed into a residence. In 1977 the City Council bought the edifice and in 2006 here they settle the City Museum.

Ancient Theatre opened in 1911, consisting of a longitudinal plan with two rectangular bodies and three floors. Worked as a theatre until the second half of the 20th century, when it became a spinning and weaving factory. In 1993, after restoration, was inaugurated here the Museum Municipal de Esposende.

This cave was discovered by chance in 1961 during mining operations. Several tools from the Mousterian industry and stone artifacts from the Upper Paleolithic and Neolithic periods were found here. However, its most important find is a Neanderthal tooth, approximately 30,000 years old.

Wide beach with thin sands, surrounded by dunes, woods, mountains and marshes. Here we find excellent conditions for surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding and sailing. Very popular, there are plenty of shops, hotels, campsites and restaurants nearby. There is a lot of nightlife, spread across the numerous beach concessionaires.

Restaurant housed in a rustic House recovered, with three distinct spaces: restaurant, tavern and the shop and regional products tasting. The cuisine is hearty, regional cooking, by highlighting the game dishes, Smokehouse and homemade jam. Here, the motto is the same as for 75 years: "where tradition is still what it was."

It's a familiar environment and in doorways presents ham, cheese and clams. The specialties consist of chicken, fish and various meat made to coal, cozido à portuguesa (Thursday and Sunday), cod with chickpeas (the 6th) and roast lamb in the oven (on Saturdays). Snails and sardines, at the time, also no shortage here.
