From the Abadim viewpoint, it's possible to see a large part of the municipality. This spot offers panoramic views of the natural beauty and typical houses of the region.

Coat-Manor House dating from the early 18TH century. It has two floors with access staircase to the terrace that accompanies the facade and a chapel in honour of Nossa Senhora da Conceição.

Dating from the early 15TH century, this church is one of the oldest of the Azores. Currently, the primitive structure, only the Gothic side door and a roof in Manueline style in the chapel of Santa Catarina.

Villa dating from the early 20TH century to present an impressive decoration of tiles "new art". This villa features a rectangular plant, with four floors and roofs to three and four waters.

Chapel built in the early 13th century by Dominican friars.

Built in the early 15th century, it underwent restoration work in 1761 and 1896. It has ten arches supported by sturdy pillars with carved columns. The two central arches are from the 18th-century renovation, while the others are from the original construction.

Market where you can buy a little bit of everything: clothes, footwear, animals, vegetables, food products, agricultural and domestic utensils, among others.

Urban set in the shape of a spider web, created around the old Church of Santiago. There are several monuments here, including: the Santana Chapel, the Casa do Tejo, the Casa da Torre, the House Museum Vasco de Lima Couto, the Palace, the Clube Estrela, Vivenda Carolina and several other houses.

16th-century building, where work not only the Town Hall, as well as a female and male prison. Today works as a Parish Council and residential area.

To get to this beach one must follow the direction of Alfanzina. It is an isolated beach in between cliffs, protected from the wind, with a small tunnel in one of the hillsides from where one may see the caves.
