An elegant towe that stands out from the rest of the walls. It has vigilance posts in the angles and a cistern inside. A special note to the ogival window of the southern façade. The gazebo with battlements offers a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains of Nogueira, Coroa and Montesinho and, to the north, of the Sanabria peaks.

The campsite of Celorico de Basto is an ideal place to escape the routine and from the discovery of the celoricense culture, or simply to take a few days rest. Here you can observe nature, visit the architectural heritage, practise several sports and experience the flavors of local gastronomy.

A fortified settlement from the Late Bronze and Iron Ages, upon which a city was built in Roman times. Temples, a commercial area, baths, pavements, and a hippodrome, among other remains, are evident. Of note is the ancient spectacle site, the Roman circus, with a capacity of 25,000 people.

Rural house built in 1733, being later extended to present characteristics of late-Baroque architecture. Is composed of a rectangular plant irregular, with three volumes that form from two patios. In 2003 was acquired by the City Council to install a hospital here. He currently is vacant.

Former Manor House. Benefits from its location, isolated, rural. In 1930 was restored and the Hermitage of San Ildefonso recovered. In 1937 the building was entirely rebuilt. Inside there is a fountain, in white marble, ornate. The wall can be seen the original cross of Fishes, in white marble.

Water fall with ten meters high, located in an area with grottos, stalactites and stalagmites. The access is done going up the river until the point where it is no longer navigable and, from then on, by road to São Domingos de Asseca. This area is characterized by its willows and cane-plantations.

Located south of Chaves, between Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar, the mountain range is part of the Trás-os-Montes Ancient Massif and is 10 kilometers long. From the top, views over the entire region are enjoyed, with highlights including Oura, Vidago, and Vilarinho.

Elm classified as a Living Monument of Public Interest. These trees can reach up to 30 meters in height, and their flowers, though scarce, can produce nuts. The wood from this type of tree is often highly sought after for making furniture, carpentry, or naval purposes.
