Also known as the Church of São Cipriano and of 16th century origin, the Main Church of Vila Nova de Cerveira is located on the main street of the town, consisting of three naves, two bell towers, a chancel and a main altarpiece, in the Baroque style, by master Veríssimo Barbosa. Pay attention to the details of the tabernacle, surrounded by angels and flanked by two quadrangular niches with sculptures representing the Adoration of the Magi and the scene of the Last Judgment. With about five miles long, this bike makes a lovely bike ride, from Ponte da Varela to Torreira (Murtosa). You can enjoy the beauty of Ria, which accompanies us along almost the entire route. Realize your tonal changes and look for fish and waterfowl.

Always a restaurant with strong French influences, Fortaleza do Guincho seeks new horizons within what is called the "Portugality". The person in charge is the Portuguese chef Miguel Rocha Vieira, who took over it in 2015. With a philosophy based on haute cuisine and the sea as its main inspiration, Fortaleza do Guincho offers a daring incursion into traditional gastronomy. In 2001, the restaurant, with a strong influence of haute cuisine, won its first Michelin star that it still holds today.

This trail starts at Miradouro das Lagoas, passes through Caldeira Seca and Caldeira Branca, providing beautiful views over Fajã Grande. It crosses two reserve areas: Site of Community Interest and Forest Reserve.

One of São Miguel's main attractions is the pineapple. At the A. Arruda pineapple plantation, you can observe the fruit in the grand greenhouses, stroll through the estate, and visit the shop selling typical products. Besides pineapple, you can also sample pineapple liqueur and pineapple jam.

Chapel of Baroque, Rococo and neoclassical architecture. On this site I met two convents, a built in XIIIth century and another in the 14th century, however, were both destroyed and, in the eighteenth century, sent to erect the current construction. Built in the 16th century, it underwent reconstruction in the 17th and 18th centuries. The main door displays the coat of arms of Dom João II. Inside, there is a former Convent of the Jerónimos Friars, founded in the 16th century, and a chapel built over the site where, according to tradition, Saint Vincent was buried.

Building from the 30's, totally remodelled, that now presents a modern, attractive look. It is a large, well-equipped space.
